How to Obtain Short Term Medical Insurance?

Fill the Gaps

Short term health coverage is designed to fill in temporary gaps of coverage for individuals or families. This type of coverage is ideal for people who are in-between jobs or recent graduates who are no longer covered as dependents under their parents' health care policy.

Determine Eligibility

The duration of coverage is decided by you (30 days or longer) and you can choose the deductible that best fits your budget.  Short Term Medical is not a minimum essential coverage.  STM Plans are medically underwritten and do not provide benefits for pre-existing conditions.   If you are locked out of the Open Enrollment period and do not have a qualifying event, then Short Term Medical may be your answer.
