We have grown since this video was taken – it all started out of a home office with a couple of part time employees.   Patience, excellent staff and customer service are the key elements that allowed us to grow and become a vital organization that “Provides the Human Touch to Insurance.”

 

Company

King and Companies, incorporated in June of 2002, is a minority-owned business.   Our Mission and goal is to Provide the Human Touch to Insurance, through innovation, customer service and providing high quality products with integrity.

 

Driving Force

We are not like most insurance consulting practices, as we were one of the first, if not the only, that created our own portal technology that allowed collaboration between owners, controllers and human resource staff, at all locations, with access to insurance and human resource forms.   We did not purchase a human resource and benefit software program, we created one.  We work with high-tech, low-tech and no-tech clients.

Benefit Consultant, with over 40 years of employee benefit and insurance expertise working with large national employers such as Roller Blade, Great Plains Software and Select Comfort.  Active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters for over 25 years and has served on the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters Board.  Golden Eagle Award recipient.

Licensed Independent Insurance Agent, assisting employers and individuals find competitive high quality insurance products with expertise in the dental industry.  

    Lisa Beckstrom 

Office Manager, has 8 years of experience working within the dental management environment.  Prior to joining King and Companies, Lisa worked at the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, assisting in the financial, human resource and benefit areas.

    Caitie Johnson

Personal Assistant, Insurance industry since 2006.  Assists in the development of King and Companies' many projects.

    Madison Johnson

Office Assistant, assists with the plans and operations of King and Companies.

 

  Dawn Williams

Independant Marketing, assisting with marketing and business development as well as providing ongoing support to all areas of the practice.
